Breast Cancer Awareness Month

ATHENS, Ga- Today is the start of breast cancer awareness month. Local groups and business are teaming up to give back. Thomas Eye Center is holding a pick a pumpkin fundraiser to raise money for the Tyanna foundation. Other businesses such as Georgia Power, Taziki’s Mediterranean Cafe, and OnlineAthens.com are teaming up to put on Hunt for Hope, a scavenger hunt to benefit the event, One-Day for Mammograms.
