Watkinsville, GA – The Oconee County Sheriff’s office honored the late deputy David Gilstrap at a dedication ceremony at 9:30 AM this morning. Giltrap was killed on duty six years ago today. The movement, now known as the “Umbrella Movement”, is protesting for a more democratic election system.
