Atlanta Mayor Wants Roads Cleared by 4 p.m.

Atlanta Mayor Kasim Reed says he wants people to pick up their children from schools and daycares between 12-2 p.m.

Reed also urges people to close down their businesses early today and head home between 2-4p.m. He says employers should release their staff by 2 p.m. The mayor also says drivers should arrive at their final destinations by 4 p.m.

Reed says this schedule is important because road crews need complete access to the roads between 4-8 p.m.
