By Jordynn Abernathy

Grady College held a dedication to the new lobby area called the Peyton Anderson forum, named afterformer Grady graduate Peyton Anderson. Anderson was a publisher at The Macon Telegraph and The Macon News, among his many other accomplishments. Tom Johnson, who was mentored by the late Anderson, says it means the world to him to be able to provide students with the opportunities he’s had.  Tom Johnson and his wife Edwina Johnson are contributors to the Peyton Anderson Scholarships to help journalists have the chance to study at Grady College. Grady wants this room to inspire leadership and paying it forward from your mentors.
