a Capella concerts around campus

— Reported by Lindsay Tuman

Calling all music lovers! Tomorrow is the night to listen to some singers. Four different a Capella groups will all perform and they each bring a little something different to the table.

Four groups of singers, two shows, one night filled with music.

The all female group Noteworthy will share the stage tomorrow with the all male group The Accidentals as they sing the alongside the movie Pitch Perfect .

The show is for a good cause, to raise one thousand dollars for Children First of Athens, but that doesn’t mean there isn’t a little friendly competition.

One Noteworthy singer, Erin Notrathomas says, “We’ll be like alright remember the boys are gonna be here, let’s be better than them, let’s be sexier than them.”

That’s not your only chance at a concert tomorrow, these a Capella groups are popping up all over campus.

The Men and Women’s Glee clubs sing tomorrow after months of practice. And director Dr. Barnett hopes all their hard work pays off. He says, “We’re feeling good I think everyone is ready, and I’m looking forward to a really nice concert.”

No matter what your preference, there are plenty of talented singers ready to belt out a tune Tuesday night.

The Pitch Perfect inspired concert is Tuesday night at 7:00 PM. The Men and Women’s Glee Club concert is also Tuesday at 8:00PM.
