ACCPD Seeks New Evidence Room

ATHENS,GA– The Athens-Clarke County Police Department is looking into building a new evidence facility that would cost over a million dollars.

The state law requires that certain evidence be maintained in order to process criminal issues.

A meeting will be held on March 5th to further discuss this project. Construction is estimated to last around 9 to 12 months depending on the weather– and completed sometime this year.
