An Athens neighborhood is still shaken after a man was shot and killed during a home invasion on Jefferson River Road late Monday night. Reporter Emily Fernie went to the neighborhood today and talked with a lot of the neighbors, some of whom actually heard the bullets fired. A lot of these neighbors actually approached us looking for answers. They want to know what the motive behind this crime was, and if they should be worried that it will happen again. These people feel uneasy, and it’s not surprising, since tragedy struck so close to home.
