Police say the suspect is Jacob’s boyfriend, Antonio Littlejohn, who was present at the time of the shooting. Littlejohn is currently in police custody without bail for a narcotics probation violation. He has been in jail since January 29th, the day of the shooting.

Jacobs was found in her bedroom with a single gunshot wound to the chest. She is survived by a three-year-old daughter.
