Athens Woman’s Death Ruled Homicide

Authorities are ruling 22-year-old Athens resident Jennifer Jacob’s death a murder. She was shot in her home off of Sartain Drive two months ago.

Police say the suspect is Jacob’s boyfriend, Antonio Littlejohn, who was present at the time of the shooting. Littlejohn is currently in police custody without bail for a narcotics probation violation. He has been in jail since January 29th, the day of the shooting.

Jacobs was found in her bedroom with a single gunshot wound to the chest. She is survived by a three-year-old daughter.

The case is currently awaiting prosecution.
