ATHENS, GA - Students flocked to bars in downtown Athens Tuesday night to celebrate the snow day on Wednesday. The freezing temperatures didn't keep happy students from toasting their good luck.

Jackson County- All schools in Jackson County will end at noon due to possible winter weather.

Oconee County- Oconee County Schools will dismiss students early tomorrow due to the winter storm. \n

Atlanta- Governor Deal has declared a state of emergency in preparation for the winter storm.

Madison County- Madison County Schools will close two hours early tomorrow in preparation for winter weather. All extra-curricular programs and after school programs are cancelled.

Barrow County- Barrow County Schools will close early tomorrow due to the inclement weather predictions. \n
