By: Damian C. Reynolds

Expect to receive a quicker response time from officials if you live in Barrow County.

Barrow 2

The county purchased new radio systems from Motorola so local emergency agencies can better communicate with each other. One fire official and four law enforcement officials received a tutorial Tuesday morning. They have communicated through a third-party but now can respond quicker by speaking directly with one another.

Harry Goldberg, the Motorola instructor trainer, explains how these new systems will be effective.
