Burglary At Busbee Hall

This past Saturday a robbery took place at the Busbee Hall Dormitory located in East Campus Village. The armed robbery makes students wonder about their safety and security

Henry Dwyer is a freshman at UGA and he says he was shocked to hear about the whole incident.

“I guess security wasn’t as strong as I thought it was. I don’t really know what to think,” Henry says, ” I hope it was just a fluke and that it is not a kind of typical occurrence here at ECV.”

Every dorm building at East Campus Village is equipped with a hand scanner that requires students to put in their UGA identification number. The only way an outsider can come in is by following the resident into the building.

University Police Chief Williamson has found the four suspects of the burglary and that the case is now closed.
