Fashion Show Helps UGA Women

An annual fashion show helps the University Woman’s Club of UGA raise money for a scholarship fund. “Styles for the Season” is a luncheon and fashion show sponsored by Macy’s.  Members of the women’s club model for their friends and other members in the latest styles of Macy’s. Women in the audience and show purchase the outfits, and half of those proceeds go to the University Woman’s Club scholarship fund, which supports women in their academic pursuits at UGA.

This event is also where new club officers and presidents step up to fill their new position, every year.   Reporter Jacob Blount attended the fashion show to find out exactly how this helps UGA students.

10:58 AM: The Fashion show is about to begin.
