Georgia Softball Takes Down Panthers

ATHENS-The University of Georgia Lady Bulldogs hope to carry some momentum into the weekend. The team will wrap up their regular season in Lexington Kentucky tomorrow to battle the Wildcats after winning their last home game of the season last night.

The team played its last home game last night with a dominating 15-6 win over Georgia State yesterday. Chelsea Wilkinson got the complete-game victory to improve to 22-8 on the year. She allowed six runs on eight hits, but she struck out seven Georgia State batters.

The offense started early for the Dawgs, taking a 4-0 lead by the top of the first inning. Georgia State tried to cut into the lead, but the Bulldog offense was too strong.
