High school students experience veterinary school for a day

Athens, GA – Around 350 high school students were on the University of Georgia’s campus today to see what a day in the Veterinary School of Medicine is like. The day is part of the “Vet School for a Day” program, where potential vet school students get to take a tour of facilities, get advice from current students, and hear a keynote speech from vet school graduate Dr. Jennifer Bonovich.

Brittney Laryea has more information on what students learned from the day, as well as the program’s impact on high school students.
