Kids Spend Spring Break at Rock Eagle EcoAdventure Camp

ATHENS — An environmental education day camp is open this week for ages 6-11 who are interested in learning about the local environmental resources. The weeklong camp is located by the Oconee National Forest and the program is put on by the University of Georgia College of Agricultural and Environmental Science.

The program’s schedule includes:

Monday- Playing in the Dirt

Tuesday- Animal Parade

Wednesday- Back to the Future

Thursday- Water Water Everywhere

Friday- Survival Skillz

The program is an easy and affordable way for kids to learn about the environment during spring break.
