Meth Lab Found in Watkinsville

A small meth lab has been found off of Union Church Road. Reporter Sophie Archer talked to Shane Ward, the owner of the trailer. He says he rented the trailer out to some friends who needed help about two years ago. Since then, he has received reports of multiple break ins at the trailer.

The Oconee County Sheriff’s department went to check on the trailer on Monday and found reason to believe meth was being made in the house. They found multiple water bottles around the house and house hold products that can be used to make meth.

No arrests have been made at this time.

Shane Ward and the sherifs department think it is best that the trailer be destroyed since it is now uninhabitable.
