Music Producers Are Urging Musicians to Stop Producing Own Music

ATHENS — “If you want something done right, you have to do it yourself.” That’s a phrase you hear time and time again.

But that’s not always true.

Musicians in Athens have increasingly begun producing their own music at home. However, this is angering some music producers. As one producer says, they have to listen to terrible music.

Jacob Chisenhall is the lead singer of the group “Fake Flowers.” He and his friends have just completed the difficult task of creating their sophomore album completely by themselves. He says the task was challenging.
