No foul play suspected in the death of a 39 year old Barrow County inmate Jonathan Manus. That’s the word tonight from Georgia Bureau of Investigation agents looking into the death of the inmate. Deputies found 39-year old Jonathan Manus inconscious in his cell at the Barrow County Detention Center.  Deputies alerted medical personenl and Manus was taken to a a local hospital where he was treated for an unspecified ailment. Manus later died. The GBI is still under investigation. Manus had been locked up in the detention center for 6 days before he died. He was in custody on three felony charges for violation of probation.
