University of Georgia PhD student, Seth Wilson, is making his way up as he wins on the hit TV show Jeopardy. He has won three times, and thats just since Monday. He took an online test via the website back in April to become a contestant. He was invited up to Washington D.C. for an in person audition.

“I wasn’t sure at first,” Wilson says. “But I was overwhelmed when I won.”

He received a call back in June and was chosen to be on the show. He told Grady Newsource one memorable moment he experienced on the show was when host Alex Trebek said “Someone[Wilson] came to play.”

“I got every question right,” he says. “It didn’t really sink in at first, but later after trips and watching the show it did.”

Wilson currently teaches at Stephen F. Austin University in Texas. He is also a teacher assistant for the Center for Teaching and Learning at UGA. Krystal Pintar, who is a coordinator for the department says Wilson has their full support.

“We’re all rallying behind him,” she says. “He really is a true dog fan.”

Wilson is still currently playing on the show. More information on Seth’s winnings can be found on the Jeopardy! official webpage.
