School Lunches Set to Change in Jackson County

JACKSON COUNTY — Jackson County is hoping to get more input from families about the lunches they serve in schools. Their goal is to find out what kids actually want to eat. The survey will be taken next week, and the board of education will use results from it to plan a meal calendar for next school year. Reporter Lauren Pinion spoke with Director of School Nutrition Debra Morris to find out how the school system will implement this program and still stay within federal guidelines. Stay tuned for more tonight at 5.
