Bank Truck Robbery Unusual for Winder

Captain Chris Cooper of the Winder Police Department says the November 14 bank truck robbery was very rare for Winder.
 
Cooper says they believe it was a premeditated incident. The suspects hid in bushes outside of the Bank of America building on Broad Street, near the ATM ready to attack the armored car.
 
It’s not unusual to see an increase in crimes around the holidays but a severe crime like this one is rare.
