Atlanta newsman John Pruitt joins Grady NewSource in a retirement farewell for Steve Smith
Athens, Ga (Grady Newsource) – After four decades covering the day’s news, Steve Smith is retiring. The former WXIA/11Alive news director and ABC News bureau chief signed off from his last newcast as executive producer for Grady NewSource Thursday. His longtime friend and former colleague John Pruitt, who retired as WSB tv anchor in 2010, closed out the show with a tribute to Smith:
