Weekend Traffic– LSU Game

ATHENS, GA– The LSU Tigers are headed to Athens this weekend and you can expect more traffic than your typical game weekend.

You can expect traffic coming from the west to be denser than usual, especially on Friday. Due to a 9 hour travel time from Baton Rouge to Athens, more fans will be arriving on Friday than usual. Traffic from Atlanta to Athens down I-85 and Highway 316 is expected to be worse than usual tomorrow, so expect some delays.

Myers Quad is a huge topic of discussion this weekend thanks to College Gameday’s arrival in Athens for the first time since 2008. Myers Quad is a popular tailgate location, but will mostly blocked off by the Gameday set up, which started early this morning.
