Heritage of Sport forum

Verne Lundquist, Vince Dooley, Tony Barnhart, and more are coming together today for the Heritage of Sport forum at the Special Collections Library at the University of Georgia. The forum is to discuss the impact of sports on the University of Georgia and the community. The forum is open to the public and begins at 4:00 pm. Grady Newsource will have team coverage at the event.

Grand Opening Downtown

Sneaker Basement will be opening downtown on G-Day this weekend. Reporter Corey Knapp is profiling the products and what to expect from Sneaker Basement.

Student Loans 

The leading cause of debt for people 21-35 years old is student loans. Only 12-16% of people in debt have a plan to pay off the debt they have. Reporter Jazmin Calhoun is talking to representatives at the University of Georgia Financial Aid office about how students can start to take control of their debt. 

Distracted Driving

It is Madison County’s Distracted Driving Awareness month. Reporter Teman Worku takes you inside what distracted driving entails and how ticketing could effect you. 

Free the Girls Campaign

Free The Girls is a non-profit organization that collects gently used bras and camisoles to distribute to survivors of sex trafficking. Reporter Natalie Roe will have the latest on how the collection is coming.
