WEATHER UPDATE: Second Storm Front to Come

Athens, GA — The line of thunderstorms that arrived early Tuesday morning has moved east out of the state.  A secondary line of storms is likely in the Athens area between 1:00 and 3:00 p.m.  Strong wind gusts and heavy rain are expected.  All of these storms are ahead of a cold front that will move through this evening. Once the cold front passes, clearing skies and cooler temperatures are expected for the next few days.
