Five-Week Course Teaches Low-Income Population About Health

The coordinator for the Community Health Partner Program Gale White Nyseth talks about the five week course she teaches to members of the community twice a year. The program is geared towards the low income population and teaches them useful health information which they are expected to spread to other members of the community. The program encourages doing this through volunteering at local clinics and health fairs.

Student Collin Shumate talks about what he hopes to take away from the program and how he plans to integrate it into his hopes of entering the medical profession.
