Strange Laws Still Exist in Georgia

Most everyone loves going to their local ice cream shop to get a cone, but many people don’t know that there are some old state laws about ice cream cones that, no matter how strange, could get them in trouble with the law. In Georgia, it is illegal to carry an ice cream cone in your back pocket on Sundays.

This is just one of the many strange laws that are old but still officially exist in the state. Other odd laws include the one that states there is no bathing allowed in Sandy Creek, and it is illegal to entice someone to play a game of bingo by offering them a goldfish.

Professor Charles Bullock of UGA stated that these kind of laws will probably just stay in place until there is a dispute in which they are called into question.
