Barrow County Urges Citizens to Use Alert System

BARROW COUNTY, GA- Text, email, phone calls, fax line. You choose the devices on which you want to receive your alerts. This is all part of Barrow County’s push to get citizens to sign up for their emergency alert system.

The system immediately notifies users of severe weather, gas leaks, police activity, evacuations and other emergencies within the area. Reporter Allison Aulds is in Barrow County learning more about the system and community feedback.
