Sorority Bid Day Equals Heavy Traffic

Watch out for heavy traffic tonight. It’s bid day, when Milledge Avenue is swarmed by sorority girls. Athens Police encourages safe driving. They say they aren’t making extra preparations to handle the traffic, but will be responding to any complaints. On the other hand, sororities are taking their own precautions telling their members to keep off sidewalks and out of the street.
