Athens, GA–According to the Georgia Governor’s Office of Highway Safety, the total number of collisions and injuries on Georgia State Route 316 have increased dramatically since last year at this time.
The numbers have gradually risen in all statistical categories each year since 2013, with the only exception being last year. In 2015, fewer vehicles were involved in crashes and less total injuries were reported. However, total collisions and crashes with injuries did increase in 2015.
