Grady Newsource Explains: Pocket Points

By Savannah Brock

In today’s world people are attached to their phones.

They walk, talk and even eat with their faces buried in front of them. This phenomenon has become a problem, especially in the classroom. College students Mitch Gardner, 22, and Rob Richardson, 21, realized that their fellow students were immersed in their phones and computers during class. Their solution? the Pocket Points App.

Grady Newsource Explains how students can gain points in turn for coupons to local and even national companies. The catch? Locking their phone and paying attention in class.
