Police in three counties are trying to track down a man whose runaway escapades have caused quite a stir recently.

Joseph D. Jackson is the man authorities are looking for. He currently has charges that range from minor misdemeanors to theft by taking. However, there is one thing that Jackson is good at and that’s eluding authorities.

Neese-Commerce Road is the location Jackson was last seen by Hall County authorities.

Madison County police say that officers from Hall County were in the county investigating a stolen vehicle. They had Jackson listed as a possible suspect. When they came to interview Jackson they discovered that he had an outstanding warrant issued by the Jackson County Superior Court. Then, he was arrested.

Neese-Commerce Road is the area where Jackson got free from Hall County police. Next, he ran to a pasture and then ran into some woods where officers lost site of him.

Hall County authorities declined to comment saying that the investigation is ongoing. They also said that they do not want to release new information because it could jeopardize the current investigation.

If you have any information on Jackson’s whereabouts please call the sheriff’s office at (706)-795-2101.

I’m the owner of the stolen vehicle Joseph Jackson is being investigated for. Most definitely he did indeed steal my car & the title for it. I finally called the authorities after giving him plenty of time to do the right thing of which he did not. I gave the authorities the location I thought he may be & he was. Then several days later after staying out all night almost every night looking for my vehicle I finally found it. I then call the authorities again & gave them the location of my car & was instructed to wait where I was & they would call me back. I never heard back from anyone & finally decided to leave after an hour & a half of waiting. I heard from an investigator on Monday 2 days later who informed me that my car was towed & that he would call & let me know when I could pick it up after he had a chance to check it out. Today 10-16-13 was quoted $475 to get my car from wrecker service. Contact me if interested in what I have to say.
