Georgia’s Gubernatorial Race Tightens: A Look Inside Candidate’s Campaigns

Georgia’s gubernatorial race is closing in with less than one month until election day. Republican Brian Kemp and Democrat Stacey Abrams will face off on Nov. 6 after a long and hard-fought battle that has gained national attention.
 
I spoke with Thomas Moore, a former Abrams intern, Parker Marlow, a Kemp intern, and University of Georgia political science professor Dr. Charles Bullock to learn more about the candidates, current political climate and this extremely close race.

 
 Why It’s Newsworthy: Midterm elections are less than a month away, and Georgia’s gubernatorial race is one of the closest the state has seen.
